FOR THE MOST ARDENT DO-IT-YOURSELFERS ONLY
You can make your own permanent sepia ink by crushing oak galls, then boiling the powder in water for two to three hours.  (Please do not ask us what an oak gall is; despite checking in a pretty good dictionary we are still not entirely clear.)

THIS IS A STICKUP
Need a dab of glue, but don't have any on the premises? Use acrylic medium, or even acrylic paint.  (If the latter, we suggest one of the less expensive colors, but you thought of that yourself.)
