KID STUFF

We have an outstanding selection of art and activity kits for children, and we'll fight anyone (small) who says differently. Through the years we've been offered hundreds of products described as "fun and educational" that were really neither. We believe we have culled out nearly all of these pretenders, and that what is left is the genuine article. See the largest local stocks and great prices here.

Included in this big selection are hundreds of art and activity books from Dover Publications, Usborne Books, Walter Foster, and others. Ninety percent of these books are priced between $1.50 and $3.95, and if there's any field that might interest a child which isn't represented by several titles we can't imagine what it is.

Klutz books and Creativity for Kids are a step up in price, but also a major step up in value. We would have killed for a couple of them back in prehistoric times when we were young.

(Here's an important tip about Klutz books: They come with a peel-off sticker showing the publisher's price in both U.S. and Canadian funds. In lots of places you won't find that sticker, a pretty good sign that they seller has upped the price.)
